Generation AI caught up with me at Demo Day to talk about what brought me to the programme, what I’m building with WroteItMyself, and the bits of AI that interest me beyond writing code.
I’ve built a business before. That doesn’t mean I’ve finished learning. Marketing, sorting through emails, researching competitors…there’s plenty of work around the product that can eat a solo founder’s day. This is where A.I interests me most. Not just the sparkly engineering side. The fundamentals.
The other reason to turn up was the people. Eight weeks in, I’d made friends who understood the slightly peculiar experience of trying to build a company. As I put it in the interview “Those are my people.”
