PSVR2 Passthrough project cover

Sony forgot to ship the PSVR2 VR Headset with a pass-through feature that could be used natively. So I made it.

See the real controls in front of you without taking off the headset, at the press of any keyboard, or controller, or joystick button you like. Blend transparency to taste. Check the video to see it in action in 5 seconds or less!

This OpenXR layer brings the PSVR2’s bottom-camera view into supported PC VR games, with a button to show or hide it. DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are the main targets.

Note : This has been mostly superseded by the PSVR2Toolkits excellent SteamVR Room View native implementation, which I highly recommend, though I’m still exploring HOTAS binding in that project. And might just write another utility to help others bridge that gap.
